Invoice Flow App Data Deletion Request

Data Deletion Request — InvoiceFlow

Last updated: April 21, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with your use of the Invoice Flow mobile app (developed by GiveMeMood). It is a summary of the deletion procedure; for full details about what data we collect and why, please see our Privacy Policy.

1. What data is stored about you

InvoiceFlow is a local-first app. The vast majority of your data (invoices, clients, products, business profiles, time entries, expenses, contracts, PDFs, settings) is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can delete this data yourself at any time (see section 3 below).

A small amount of technical data is stored on Google Firebase servers under our control:

What Where Why
SHA-256 hash of your device's Android ID, plus the timestamp when you started your free trial and the platform name ("android") Cloud Firestore (EU region) Prevents abuse of the 7-day free trial by users repeatedly reinstalling the app
Anonymous app usage events (screen views, feature interactions), device model, OS version, app version, locale Firebase Analytics Product improvement and diagnostics
Crash reports with stack traces, device model, OS/app version Firebase Crashlytics Bug fixing and stability improvements
Push notification token Firebase Cloud Messaging (managed by Google) Delivery of push notifications you opt into

Important: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, invoice contents, client details, amounts, or any other personally identifying information you enter into the app.

2. How to request deletion of data we store

To request deletion of data we store about your device, please email us:

In the body of your email, please include:

  1. The approximate date you first installed the app (within a month is fine)
  2. The device type or model (e.g., "Moto G75 5G", "Samsung Galaxy S23")
  3. The country/region where you primarily use the app

This information helps us locate and verify the record to delete.

What will be deleted

  • Firestore trial record — removed within 30 days of your verified request. This is the only record containing data directly associated with your device.
  • Firebase Analytics events — we will request Google to delete Analytics data associated with your device's Firebase Installations ID.
  • Firebase Crashlytics data — we will request Google to delete crash reports from your device.

What will be retained (and why)

  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics — data that has been aggregated across all users and no longer identifies any individual or device will not be deleted (it cannot be linked back to any specific user).
  • Legal/compliance records — records we must retain for tax, fraud prevention, or legal purposes (if any). Typically retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law. For InvoiceFlow, we do not currently retain any such records that would survive a deletion request.
  • Purchase receipts — Google Play maintains records of subscription purchases under their own privacy terms. We cannot delete these on your behalf; contact Google Play Support to manage those.

3. How to delete data stored on your device (no request needed)

You can delete all data you entered into InvoiceFlow at any time, directly on your device, without contacting us:

Option A — Delete individual items within the app

  • Open InvoiceFlow → long-press any invoice, client, product, etc. → Delete
  • Or use bulk-delete from the Archive screen

Option B — Clear all app data via device settings

  • Android Settings → Apps → InvoiceFlow → Storage → Clear data
  • This immediately deletes all local database, preferences, and cached files

Option C — Uninstall the app

  • Uninstalling removes all local data from your device
  • Note: the Firestore trial record is not deleted by uninstall alone — use the email request in section 2 if you want that record removed as well

4. Optional: opt out of non-essential data collection

You can limit data collection without deleting anything, directly in the app:

Note: the hashed device identifier (for trial protection), anonymous analytics, and crash reports cannot be disabled while using the app, as they are considered essential for service stability and fraud prevention. If you wish to use the app without any data collection, please uninstall the app.

5. Response time

We will acknowledge your request within 7 days of receiving it, and complete deletion within 30 days. If your request is unusually complex or we need additional information to verify your identity, we may extend this by up to an additional 30 days; in that case we will notify you.

6. Questions or concerns

If you have questions about this procedure or about your privacy rights in general, please contact us:
