These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Before Photo mobile application (the “App”) developed and distributed by Givememood (the “Developer”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.

1. About the App
Before Photo is a camera application that continuously captures frames from the camera preview into a short-lived local buffer. When you press the shutter, the App saves the photograph that was actually taken one to seven seconds before your tap, so you never miss the natural expression or moment that occurred just before you decided to take the picture. The App also offers multiple photo filters (Vintage, Retro, Polaroid, Sepia, Noir, Black & White), a local gallery, tap-to-focus, self-timer, volume-button shutter, multi-camera switching, and localization in 76 languages.
The App is currently available for Android devices. A version for iOS may be released in the future; when released, these Terms will apply to the iOS version without material changes unless otherwise stated.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. License and Permitted Use
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on compatible devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and with the policies of the app store from which you obtained the App.
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law;
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
- use the App to violate any applicable law, including privacy laws of any person you photograph;
- bypass, remove, or interfere with advertising, subscription enforcement, or other monetisation mechanisms of the App;
- use the App in any way that infringes the rights of others.
4. Free Version and Premium Subscription
4.1 Free Version
The App can be used free of charge. The free version is supported by advertising displayed through Google AdMob. All photo-capture features and all filters are available in the free version.
4.2 Premium
Premium removes advertising and supports ongoing development. Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase:

Prices are displayed inside the App at the time of purchase in your local currency. Actual pricing, promotions, and free-trial availability are set by the relevant app store and may vary by region.
4.3 Billing and Auto-Renewal
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by the app-store operator (currently Google Play; Apple App Store for a future iOS version). Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your Google Play subscriptions settings (and, when available, in your Apple ID subscription settings).
4.4 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by the relevant app-store operator in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds ourselves.
5. Advertising
The free version of the App displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. Ads may take the form of interstitials shown after photo captures and banners shown within the gallery. Premium users do not see advertising.
6. Your Content
All photographs you capture with the App are stored locally on your device. We do not receive, access, or transmit your photos. You retain full ownership of your photographs and are solely responsible for their content, including compliance with applicable privacy laws of the people or places you photograph.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its name “Before Photo”, icon, user interface, copy, code, and all associated materials, is the property of the Developer and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services in order to function:
- Google Play Billing — processes subscription and lifetime purchases.
- Google AdMob — delivers advertising to free-version users.
Your interactions with these services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Camera and Device Permissions
The App requires camera access in order to take photographs. Network access is required in order to display advertising (free version) and to validate subscription purchases. Permissions are requested at runtime by the operating system and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchant- ability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or that it will always produce a specific result.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, photographs, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to specific App features if you violate these Terms, abuse advertising or billing systems, or infringe the rights of others.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when features are added, pricing changes, or legal requirements evolve. The most recent version is always available on our website. Material changes will be communicated in the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developer operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
