AntiPhone Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AntiPhone ("the App"), a digital detox application developed and published by GiveMeMood ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About the App

AntiPhone is a digital detox timer for Android that helps you put your phone down and stay focused. The App locks your screen for a chosen period and uses the device's accelerometer to detect if the phone has been picked up. Upon successfully completing a session, the App rewards you with a unique generative-art card, an interesting fact, and a philosophical quote — all of which you can save or share.

AntiPhone is currently available for Android on Google Play. Support for additional platforms, including iOS, is planned for the future.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Free Version and Premium Subscription

3.1 Free Version

AntiPhone is available to download and use free of charge. The free version includes:

  • Full digital detox timer functionality
  • Accelerometer-based pickup detection
  • Session rewards: generative-art cards, facts, and philosophical quotes
  • A selection of reward card designs
  • Multi-language support for reward content
  • Session statistics and streaks
  • Choice of visual themes

The free version displays banner and interstitial advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

3.2 Premium Subscription

The Premium subscription unlocks additional features, including:

  • All premium reward card designs (exclusive layouts not available in the free version)
  • Custom profile avatar and personal caption on shared reward cards
  • An ad-free experience

Premium is offered as a recurring subscription. Pricing and billing intervals are displayed in the App and on the AntiPhone page at GiveMeMood.com at the time of purchase.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged through your Google Play account.

3.4 Price Changes

We may change the subscription price at any time. We will notify you in advance of any price change. Your continued use of the Premium subscription after the change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

4. Payment and Billing

4.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Google Play Billing. We do not directly handle or store your payment information. Your purchase is subject to Google's applicable payment terms and policies.

4.2 Receipts

Receipts and payment confirmations are managed by Google Play and sent to the email address associated with your Google account.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

5.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to Premium features until that date.

5.2 After Cancellation

After cancellation, your account reverts to the free version. Your session history, statistics, and preferences remain on your device.

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with Google Play's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

6. Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore your Premium subscription using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App's settings. Make sure you are signed in to the same Google account used for the original purchase.

7. Your Data and Privacy

AntiPhone does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All data — including your settings, session history, statistics, profile avatar, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device. For full details, please read our AntiPhone Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to the name "AntiPhone," generative art styles, reward card designs, facts, philosophical quotes, graphics, and source code — is owned by GiveMeMood or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the App's security features
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Use automated means to access or interact with the App
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its content

10. Disclaimers

10.1 No Medical Advice

AntiPhone is a productivity and wellness tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified professional for any health-related concerns.

10.2 Accuracy of Content

We strive to ensure that all facts and quotes provided in the App are accurate and properly attributed. However, we make no warranties regarding their completeness, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

10.3 "As Is"

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GiveMeMood shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We may also notify you through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which GiveMeMood operates.
